Service

Service is one of Monkton's core values. This element of the course requires engagement in, and reflection on, Service beyond the immediate Monkton Community. The Service activities chosen should:

• Involve giving time and effort to help others either directly or through supporting a wider community

• Not be paid

This year you will all have the opportunity to serve our community at St Martin's Garden Primary School. It is doing amazing work in an area where nearly half of pupils are eligible for free school meals. This could be your service project, but we would also encourage you to consider other ways to look beyond yourself and find an opportunity to serve a cause that you are passionate about.

Time frame - 20 to 40 hours over the year
